the knight

In medieval Europe, knights did represent the highest class of military status. Adopting a chivalrous code of conduct that involved bravery, honour, and service to others, their job was to protect persons of rank.

Regarded as one of the most distinctive chess pieces, the knight featured on our coat of arms is a tribute to the Arabian horse, blending Arab heritage and European noble traditions.

It embodies the virtues of versatility, power, and grace.
